Comments: Could be M. integrifolia or M. tetraphylla. M. integrifolia is the species grown in Hawaii's orchards, M. tetraphylla is grown California as an ornamental. Both are members of the Proteaceae family which also includes protia and Banksia. There is a long wait between planting and fruiting--perhaps over 10 years in our area.
