Comments: Broadleaf deciduous tree native to eastern Canada and eastern US (from Maine to Texas. Variable leaves--oval, ovate and sometimes lobed--on the same tree. Low growing and delicate branching in tiers. An attractive ornamental with aromatic leaves with good Fall color. Member of the laurel family.
