Comments: Broadleaf evergreen, native to Australia. First ones were planted in California in 1856. Dark green sickle-shaped leaves. Eucalyptus scent to leaves. White flowers in spring. Fibrous peeling bark that hangs in long ribbons. Tentatively identified as E. nobilis.
