Comments: Broadleaf evergreen flowering tree native to Brazil and Argentina in South America. Leaves are alternate compound leaves with alternate dark green oval leaflets. Flower is bright red. Related to legumes, but the seeds of this species are toxic. References for this species consider it invasive, and it shouldn't be planted near streams or ponds.
