Native to: California

Leaf retention: evergreen

Comments: Broadleaf evergreen native to Arizona and California. Pinate leaves are green to yellow green and 12 to 16 inches long with very small alternate leaflets spaced about an inch apart. Drought and heat tolerant but expect die back when temperatures dip below 20 F. Bark is green on new branches. Tree rarely grows beyond 25 foot tall with a similar spread.
