Comments: Broadleaf deciduous tree native to the Eastern United States and Canada. Dark to medium green leaves with a lighter underside are deeply lobed and strongly veined. Acorns are pointed in shallow cups. Bark is tan to light gray with shallow vertical furrowing. Adult trees to 80' or more and broad spreading. According to Nelson Kirk, these trees were provided by the old Edenvale Nursery.
