California Pepper Schinus molle

Comments: Evergreen, native of South America. Brought to California by Spanish padres. In early summer flowers appear followed by red berries in great quantities, leading to the colloquial name "Pepper-tree". This tree has a chamber in the trunk large enough to stand in.
