Comments: Broadleafed evergreen hybrid from Europe. Dark green leaves are approx. 2" , bark is red and peels away exposing a smooth red undercoat. Height to 50' but generally low growing. Red fleshy fruit in Summer. These are the best examples of this species yet found in Washington Township.
