Comments: Deciduous broadleaf native to south central Canada and the US Midwest and South. Yellow green 2" delta shaped leaves on a 2" petiole. Fast growing to 40' but short lived. In the background can be seen the salt harvest at the Cargill Company Plant--salt has been extracted commercially from San Francisco Bay since the 1850's.
