Comments: Evergreen broadleaf native to China and Southeast Asia. Leaves are silver-green, 2' long pinnately compound with 12 or more alternate rows of serrated leaflets. Leaflets have several sharp points and are very stiff. In winter, this plant has yellow flower shoots which are followed by blue berries. Mature tree to 10' with most branches coming directly from the base. A close relative to this plant is the Oregon Hollygrape.
