Comments: Evergreen broadleaf plant native to New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, Australia. Similar to E. globulus in leaf and flower, the sideroxylon has a rough dark brown to black furrowed bark. Flowers are usually white but pink and red are also common. New branches are bright red. Locally, mature trees to 50', but in native environment to 100'.
